Golf Shop Manager

Manages the Golf Shop and Club functions while providing a safe and enjoyable sporting experience for Members and patrons within budgetary constraints.

Two-year Associates degree in related field or the equivalent or a combination higher learning and practical experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide daily service to members and patrons during fair weather and closing the Golf Shop during times of inclement weather. Assist men’s and women’s clubs and the public with planning, organizing, and facilitating club tournaments. Provide an annual marketing plan for approval by the GM. Order, price, and stock all items for sale in the Golf shop according to budget. Tracks and reconciles daily sales. Trains and manages a crew of up to 4 people. Periodically marshals the course and responds to issues contrary to the Club Rules and Policies. Assist visitors on a limited basis with Riviera business when the Administrative office is closed. Clean and organize the Golf Shop. Maintain the cleanliness of the restrooms. Maintain a professional, congenial, and welcoming bearing when dealing with the membership and public. Position also interacts with Golf and Grounds Superintendent on a regular basis identifying and communicating any golf course related issues that need attention. Proper Golf Attire required.

Lakeshore Restaurant – Line Cook

The Riviera Lakeshore Restaurant is now accepting applications for motivated food service workers. Part time and seasonal positions are available. Applicants must have open flexibility, to include weekends, holidays and must be 16 years old. Experience preferred but not required. Job training will be offered to those who are serious about joining our team. Applicants must be hard working, a team player, and have a sincere desire to provide excellent service our guests. Job Opportunity: Golf and Grounds Maintenance Laborer
Position: Seasonal – April 1 through September 30
Schedule: Up to 32 Hours/week including weekends

Applicants must possess a valid Washington State driver’s license and be insurable by employer’s insurance carrier without restrictions. Able to carry out assigned tasks as outlined below with minimal supervision. Capable of lifting 50 pounds regularly. Must be able to respond to community and team members in a polite and courteous manner. Must perform all work safely and efficiently.

This position is under the direction of the Golf Course Superintendent, who will provide specific instructions, standard procedures and overall priorities. Employee will be relied upon to accomplish an adequate quantity and quality of work.

Duties include mowing, raking, weeding, trash pick-up, small equipment operation such as line trimmers, blowers, chippers, power washers, etc. and other duties as assigned and/ or required by General Manager.
