Job Title: Seasonal Golf and Grounds Maintenance Worker
Supervisor: Golf and Grounds Superintendent
Status: Full-Time Short-Term Position up to 90 days
Pay: $16.28 to $20.00/hr
Summary
This position is under the direction of the Golf Course and Grounds Superintendent for all instruction, procedures, and priorities of grounds work related to Riviera golf course and park maintenance.
Qualifications
General mechanical aptitude and willingness to work manual labor outdoors in all kinds of weather.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Mowing (Both riding and push mowers)
Small equipment operation (line trimmers, blowers, chippers, power washers, etc.)
Raking
Weeding
Trash pick-up
Assisting with irrigation repairs
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of gas-powered mowers, blowers, weed eaters, and other related equipment
Skill in manual garden tool use
Ability to work independently outdoors in all kinds of weather
Certificate, Licenses, Registrations
WA State Driver’s License
Physical demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk and hear, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment
In the work environment the employee may be exposed to a wide range of weather, airborne particles, exposure to risk of injury and varying high to low noise levels.
